Baby update more photo's

Up to baby number 19 now. These babies are from my better pairs which will be good timing for the Unbroken Cap Sheild selection night in October.
Four babies have hatched in Nest#5 Cinnamon grey cock- Yellow face Opaline grey hen. 8 eggs lay all fertile.
The three oldest babies are in a foster nest#3.
This baby is 24 days old.
More baby photo's I took this morning.
Unfortunately, no fallow babies this time round. All fertile eggs were dead in shell. My guess is the hens may have let their eggs chill.

Baby photo's update.

A few photo's of the twelve babies. A little one hatched that was a day early (premmie) but it died the following day with a full crop and the chick was blackish/brown.
A few more babies are due over the next week. Fingers crossed for some fallows.
They are at the very active stage and its hard to get a decent picture of them because they just won't keep still for a second.

Some aviary shots from today. It was a lovely sunny winter day and I couldn't resist taking a few happy snaps.
